My picks from the Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale

Years ago, when I first shopped the Nordstrom Half Yearly sale (or was it the Anniversary sale?), my now husband made fun of me for making some purchases at a Nordstrom sale. His words "nothing is ever really on sale at Nordstrom". Well, that could be true if you're not too interested in quality and longevity. Some of my most classic and complimented item have been from Nordstrom. With the sale currently on through through January 2, I thought to share some items that have caught my eye this time around…and all marked down!

Faux Leather Moto Jacket

This looks great paired with jeans or a dress to dress up your casual look and just enough warmth as needed for a west coast winter or cool nights throughout the year.

Bring on the Drama

I love the drama that comes with this blouse… the sleeves, the neckline, everywhere! I’d pair it with a high-waisted midi pencil skirt and heels, and subtle accessories (studs).

Then there’s also this Bloom Print Organza Ruffle Blouse, which I cant get enough of!

Ripped Jeans

I saw a meme that said “no one is attacked at a family gathering more than someone wearing ripped jeans.” LOL!

Well, Thanksgiving and Christmas family gatherings are about done for a while. or who really cares anyway? Get yourself a pair and wear them confidently!

Pops of Color

If you love pops of color like I do, check out these wide leg pants out, and pair it with a bold fitted tank or blouse. If this one’s is a bit too much color for you… Good news! It also comes in black with white polka dots.

Speaking of Polka Dots…

I loooove this dress. That’s all! Oh but don’t skip the details to see the surprise on its back ;)

Statement Earrings

I’m a sucker for both small studs and statement earrings alike. I like this set of studs for an everyday look switch up. Also, check out these Stella+Ruby Chiffon statement earrings for a much bolder look.

Crossbody Bag

I was recently telling a friend that neither of the crossbody bags I own are in neutral tones (fuschia and turquoise because Io bright colors are so stunning), so they’re hard to match any ensemble. When I go out, I’m stuck with a wristlet, which isn’t as convenient when a lot of moving around is involved. It comes in multiple colors, but only some on sale, an additional strap option and plenty compartments!

Or?…

…maybe this belt bag is what I need?

I personally haven’t quite bought into this trend yet, but this classic look would be a staple in someone’s wardrobe. Also available in Tan color.

Classy Loafers

Casual or dressy. Work or play. I’m sure I’ll miss out on these loafers if I don’t act soon.

Pretty Pumps

These are perfect for the spring or summer (or if left to me, pretty much any season!) Match it up with a solid (say navy?) sheath or fit and flared midi dress for a stand out and classy look.

Something Different

There’s something about these boots. the stand out buckle and color. Pair it with skinny jeans and flowy blouse or loose sweater. Its also available in Black and White.

Something for Him…

Looking for an stand-out accessory for a gentleman in your life? My computer mouse keeps dragging me back to this card case with contrasting blue trimming and interior. I only wish it was a full on wallet with a bill pocket.

Here’s another (sans pop of color) but a bifold RFID wallet with bill pockets.
